Road trip tomorrow! I'm dreading the drive but excited to get out of town.
 
Happy Saturday indeed. Had some beer and a bonfire w my lady last night. Slept till noon. I can never sleep past 7:30. Feel great. Gonna hit the gym, cook some chili, and some light housework. Maybe squeeze in a bike ride too. Beautiful day!

2 pcs butter milk toast
1/2 Lb backon...love that shit!

Sunday last weekend of summer. Kids start school on Thursday. I can finally start working!

I took a great nap today, dreamed about flying to great white north and meeting up with this hottie!
 
Off for the next 10 days, going to Cocoa Beach Florida... should be fun to get away, taking the grandkids with us, so not too crazy...
 
Only thing worse than MN in August, is FL. God damn it's friggin hot and muggy down there. Least you near the beach. Have a good time. Bring me back a Cuban...Woman, not cigar.

dude, i was there for 10 days it was 84-88 the whole time with a light breeze off the water.. heaven really,,,, not the 94 it was here..
 
and now we have 106 heat index for today?? really??

we had a fire at a local bar this morning at 7:30.. really, at least it was only 75 degree outside, the employees started showing up, the owner said don't go anywhere we have a lot of cleaning to do today.. hahhahah.. good times.
 
Hungover as fuck. Birthday drinks lastnight. GF got me chocolate, ammo, sushi, and beer. What a gal!
 
Here I was happy to work today. Thought I'd miss the slaughter, and our team actually showed up. Still lost, but it was close down to the end. Ponder still blows.
 
so we had our annual guys weekend..8 adult men 34 the youngest... for golf friday/sat and travel back home on sun...

it for sure was off the hook.. strippers where it was a $5 door.. and only 5 different strippers for all the rotations.. hilarious...

but during happy hour, i was getting red bull and vodka for $2.. and $1.50 coors lite..

good times for sure.. we stayed there 5 hours.. hahahhaaa not a single lap dance..

day 2.. everyone was drunk before lunch time.. to the bar for great food.. then slap cup on the beach for 48 beers... then it was 3pm.. hahahaaa
 
What the hell is slap cup? Is that like Tippy cup?

What beach did ya go to?

Went to half price whisky night at Old Capital Tavern in Sartell last night. They have a delicious peach whisky that was so smooth. And I'm not even a big whisky fan.
 
Dude we were at a lake house up by taylor falls... it was hilarious, we went one night to wisconsin friday night to Cagin... they had all of 5 strippers there all night for rotation... $1.50 coors light with a $5 door...

it was hilarious...we stayed for 5 hours...hahahha
 
if the ball goes in on the 1st try you can put the cup in front of anyone on the table.... if it takes more than one try it goes one position to your left.. get your cup knocked away in front of you... drink..

Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a state trooper behind him, lights flashing and siren blaring. He floored it to 100 mph, then 110, then 120. Suddenly he thought, "What am I doing? I'm too old for this," and pulled over to await the trooper's arrival. Pulling in behind him, the trooper walked up to the Corvette, looked at his watch, and said, "Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a reason for speeding that I've never heard before, I'll let you go."
The old gentleman paused. Then he said, "Years ago, my wife ran off with a State trooper. I thought you were bringing her back."
"Have a good day, sir," replied the trooper.
 
Tuesday night. Just before bed. 3 days till the weekend, where I'll spend 4 days riding 350 miles. Don't even know where we're going yet. We never do till we get to the airport. Sounds fun/torturous!
 
I do NOT feel like working today. I have a meeting at 10 and honest to God would like to climb under my desk and pretend I'm not here. Bring on the weekend! :)
 
gotta go to court allllllll day tomorrow, fuck this is gonna be boring, I might just EF post from the back bench lolol.
 
we are running an open house at the firehouse today.. weather is perfect and there is happiness in the world
 
so this saturday we are allowing new recruits to come in and do the agility test for practice, open to the public, but pre registration is needed.. should be a good time, normally at least 1 person throws up.. hahahahaa
 
so.. starting a big marketing campaign this week.. 500 targeted mailings.. we'll see if subtle or direct messages work..
 
We got a few inches here. It's all gone now. hope it dries out by my next day off. I need to finish raking my leaves.
