If you lift at night you should be slamming food at night. You should get at least two meals in after a weight training session. Once liquid and one whole food. Each meal should be similar in macronutritional breakdown as well.
These people who lift at night and abide by the the no carbs after 6PM bullshit are merely wasting the energy they just spent in the gym. Your body doesn't know what time it is... it wants nutrients after training and lots of them. 2 to 1 ratio of carbs to protein... keep the fats low in these meals. The other time of the day, protein and fats and fibrous carbs should be enough to keep nitrogen positive.
