aboot a year ago marvel said they would tell people what really happened to wolverine to turn him into what he was because they assumed if they didn't tell, some movie would.

so does anyone know where wolverine came from.

Every I've seen and read with him has the same line about how he doesn't remember. They make their money by keeping people guessing. Maybe someday.

I don't read x-men or wolverine (amazing spidey fan here!) but I always thought wolverine was created by the government weapon x project... same guys that did cable (I think).

Wasn't there recently (within the past year) and mini series called Wolverine:Origins?
