Who or What is Your God?

Latimer said:
When I die, I must go before Crom, and he will ask me, what is the riddle of steel? And if I do not know it, he will cast me out of Vahalla and laugh at me. That's Crom. Strong on his mountain.

My god is stronger, he is the sky, over your mountain.

I am my own god. I control my destiny and whatever surrounds it.

Religion= unable to cope with the fact your on your own in this little world. Feeblemindeness. Brainwashed by your parents to believe in something that doesn't exist. I could go on forever

You people are blind!!!!
Fuckin' BLIND!!!

Anybody whose head is free from their ass know that the second coming of Christ is ALREADY here...

....and his name is ELIAN GONZALEZ.

The facts speak loud and clear:

This 5 year-old survived the high seas for 4 days and nights in his quest to reach the promised land, America.
He was reunited with his father (a surrogate father since God was his real daddy) on Easter Sunday, the 2000th anniversary of his first son's resurrection!

You heard it here first!!!

U could say the last one MB, but you have to add in the notion of repetitiveness in order to show the fundemantal physical strucuter of belief.

One can pursue a cause, principle, or activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion for a limited time and then stop. I.E.. Many vets from WWII and WWI would fit this example. I'm not saying all but many would.

Therefore you need to add in repetativeness to for a fundmantel baisis of religion to exist.

I'm a good Catholic boy. Although I'm not exactly living in a state of grace and I haven't been to confession in several years. When I suspect the end is near, I shall confess my sins en masse and will thereby be able to accept last rites (very important to me) and then die and ascend.

I GOT THIS CATHOLIC THING WIRED!;)

this repetitiveness you speak of... do weekly sunday visits count? going to church weekly, yet being a complete dick all week... does that fit your required repetition?

or even if he is "good" by general moral terms but pursues something on a weekly or bi weekly basis, maybe more frequent but not daily... and he pursues it his entire life... does that qualify as his "religion"?

simple example... a guy strives for the perfect body... yet, only works out 2 times a week.. however he does it for 40 years... its his goal, its what he wants more than anything... yet, his repetitiveness is not daily or even close to being so...

Actually madbomber yes a once a week activity would fit the standard definition under sociological terms.
