Who on this board would go to war if a full scale war broke out???????

1. I really don't have all that much going for me so there's not much to miss.

2. I'm a proud American who will fight for my country, despite dipshit politicians.

3. I don't put much value on my life.

4. I sure could use the exercise, training, and forced dedication.

5. Serving looks good on a resume.

6. They'd draft me anyways.

So...hell yeah, i'd go. I'd probably get shot, though.

i wouldn't want to but the thought of say a country invading the Uk (and it would have to be severe to warrant the draft although i guess vietnam contradicts that) would mean i'd happily be willing to give my life for my country

Nope, I wouldn´t.

that's because you guys have the mentality of being a neutral country therefore are unwilling to fight.

Canada has a pop. of like 30 million and every last one of us would fight for our country if it came to that.

We'd probably have to bail the US out like we did in Vietnam!

I would....for my family and others.

Talk to a vet once....if you said no to the above question, you may change your mind!

B Fold...so true!

did you ever here that old joke?
Iran and Iraq have declared war on each other. Italy has surrendered just to be on the safe side ;)

I'm absolutely shocked at how many people are saying no.... It amazes me how many people in this country take thier freedom for granted so much that they wouldn't fight to keep it. I agree, most of the time it IS US going somewhere to attack someone else, but given the oppurtunity, those same people, Iraq, Iran, etc, would wipe us out completely. Any American who answers no to this question is a COWARD, period. There is NO justifiable explanation to turn your back on a call to duty from your country. And before anyone asks, YES I am a Vet, and YES I have been in combat, and there's no way anyone can convince me that saying no to your country's call is justifiable, AT ALL!!!

By the way, serving in the military in no way guarantees that you'll ever even be in danger, so all you pussies that are afraid to fight, you could always get a nice typing job in personnel. It truly amazes me, the lack of sense of duty that some people have.....

In a heartbeat. I wanted to sign up for Desert Storm...

:bawling: ...but they told me I was too old... :bawling:

I wasn't even very old at the time, only like 34. I'd asked a recruiter and he said I was over the limit. Then, about 5 years later I found out that a friend of mine was able to join who was 40 when he signed up. He said there is some way to get a special age exemption in times of war.

I don't care if I'm 60. I will try to sign up if we face WW3.

fucking weak bodies.....I will happily fight and DIE for my country, so my family and friends won't have to. I am a proud member of the Armed Forces and plan to stay in until retirement!!!

P.S. If you're between the ages of 18-25 and NOT in the military now, you have to register for the draft fuckers.....
