I've always thought win mx was the best p2p so this hasn't effect me as much as others, but I thought the original morpheus was at least 2nd best.

After you load KaZaa run Lava soft's AD AWARE. Even if you do not load the other componets it still loads 3 registry pieces of spyware. when you run ad aware it removes them and then you can not run kazaa. it will make you install it again. Please bring back the old Morph. I need serial #'s bad
Instructions sor Kazaa
To remove the stupid monkey on the Kazaa tool bar just right click and remove it. To run Kazaa after you run Ad-Aware to remove the spyware you need to change a .dll file here is some instructions I found to do it.
Downloaded and installed Kazaa. Re-running Ad Aware showed that a spyware DLL called cd_clint.dll (Cydoor) was present in my \Windows\system32 folder (under XP). I told Ad Aware to delete the file. After this, Kazaa refused to start up, saying a component was missing. I reinstalled Kazaa, got it working again, and again Ad Aware found cd_clint.dll in my system. I did a web search for this file name, and found a site that distributed a dummy version of this DLL here. Apparently, the company that makes the spyware publishes the API (application programming interface) of the DLL. The developers running this site just created a DLL with the same function signatures as the spyware - but the functions do nothing. The source code is included. I thought this was a really cool trick, so I'm passing this information along in the hopes that people will find it useful. I'm running Kazaa right now with the dummy DLL. Of course, when installing Kazaa, you'll need to opt out of everything but the essentials to prevent additional spyware from being installed. You will need to put the .dll file on the ignore list for Ad-Aware it will pick it up next time you run it.

You need to rename the old file and save it because if you want to uninstall Kazaa you will need to reuse the old .dll file the dummy one won't let you uninstall it.
