Who is/was a bigger phenomenon: Hogan or The Rock?

Hogan over Rock, but Austin tied with Hogan (excluding last few months) For one thing, when Austin came back from the injury he started taking Rocks (his old) fan base back, when the 2 fought at wrestlemania, I thought Rock was gonna get booed outa the arena, Austin turning heel saved Rocky

Even Austin couldn't compare to the total phenomenom of Hogan's Hulkamania. Hogan's name name and face was in more places and he was on top longer too. Hogan headline what was still the biggest PPV to this date. Wrestlemania III. And this is coming from someone who was never a Hogan. I always like Macho Man, The Ulimate and Bret Hart better. But fact is facts.

Hogan hands down, Wrestmemania I with mr t was amazing
Hogan would get screams that were deafening and lingered, rock is cool as shit but they cheer him when his song comes on for 10 seconds, they used to cheer hogan non stop, he was the original icon, the FIRST wrestler to EVER have a entrance song. the 1st wrestler to make the commentary b4 the macth a big highlight... remeber his "combat zone" with Mean Gene
he even used to go on vince's late note show and make shakes with raw eggs , shell included and made vince drink it. lol
of course the legendary rocky 3
and his other movies whether they suck or not is irrelevant
hes the arnold of wrestling in his prime no one now in the wwf in their prime could touch him.
hogan was the shit and at 307lbs in his prime he was untouchable.
heres a little tid bit
he held the WWF belt longer without any losses than any one ever, something like 3 1/2 yrs, he lost the belt on Feb 12th 1987 i think, i saw it, it was friday night smain event when they had the twin brother refs and hogan kicked out of andres pin but the ref kept counting and Andre gave the belt to Dibiasse.
also hogan only legitmatley lost the belt ONE time as champ and that was in wresltmania 4, i was 16 i think, the ultimate warrior beat him.
and hogan dictates his matches and wanted warrior to win.
