My old jobs? No. I plan to be more proactive with my new career (attend industry events, network, etc.), so I will be using them.

I do. I always keep the box at home and try to keep a dozen or so in my wallet. It always frustrates me when I need one and reach into my wallet to find nothing but other people's cards and ATM receipts.

I hate it when you are in a big meeting with vendors and their typical entourage.
And 5 minutes of the meeting is wasted with everyone swapping their business
cards like it really matters.

I normally just put a few of mine on the desk in front of me,
and if they want one, take it.. Or I give one if they ask.

A thousand cards normally cost between $30 and $90.

Depends on paper quality, gloss, colors, and art work (logos etc).

have them just never carry them...then people looked at me f$$%^ up when i tell them i dont have any on me...not a suit and tie so hard to keep them from looking lie i just pulled it out of my throat...
