I always think that I will fall off the bike when my husband does that with me in the back seat, so I hold on for my dear life :worried:

Crazy. Ive seen some dude next to me on the freeway riding a wheelie with a girl on the back.

At 80MPH and no gear.

Not much experience but I do have a R1 and going to buy a hog also. I did manage to go 0 to 60 in maybe 2 sec a few days ago. I need to quit that shit. I have a bike that will do 160 easy. Not good.

Get hat girl on the track and ride her like she likes it! You just can't duplicate the experience of 165mph at full lean on the street!

How does it look like when seen from somebody elses eyes? Does it look like her ass is about to fall off? lol

i've been thinking a lot about getting a sportbike. all i've ever owend and ridden is cruisers. i bought a 500 honda shadow in high school and then a few years later bought a 95 fatboy.

a harley was an easy purchase for me. i knew what i wanted when i went looking. but i know nothing about sport bikes. i'm thinking about getting a honda only because honda cars are built so well and last forever.

what is a good bike to start out on?

No, great question actually. Allot of people think they need that big ass 1k. All they end up doing is jacking up insurance rates for the rest of us because they find themselves dead within a month.

If you asked this question on a good motorcycle forum the answer would be an SV650. It a Suzuki V-Twin. Nice and light and still sporty. Actually that’s a favorite in the light weight twins class with WERA and CCS racing. Very fun bike on the track!

All current (and older, back to 1999) 600's are wicked fast and have more power then you'll ever use on the street. They rev quick and handle like a dream. But you can still get into plenty of trouble on one. Whatever you do, think about track riding. It's the best and safest place to really enjoy your bike. Don't get me wrong, the street is fun too but theirs no comparison to the track!
