the scenario was this, call it what you like.

i had been planning to leave and work directly for some of my clients at my former job along with additional clients i found on my own. I wasn't leaving because of a non compete agreement.

My boss laid me off. I was given pseudo 2 week notice.

the next day another boss at that same company offered me a job, which i turned down because i was already working on my own in the first place.

so I call it "left"...

1. I have been at this about a month, and am already doing better financially than i was with the corporates. Also, I enjoy what i am doing, which as the two of you dipshits know is damn near impossible when you are a developer.
