Who Here is Bulking??

Cutting. . . .how are you supposed to get bigger and stronger when cutting??

Thats why I bloat myself up to cod fish proportions!!!
 
I wish, but I'm now 1 week into my contest diet, I forgot how much I love food...

I've been bulking for like 6 months, lol. I think I may be about maxed out though (pouts).

im trying to eat for growth...but i teeter between feeling like a heiffer and wanting to keep growing.

Don't worry about it. It's cool to be fat in the summer.
 
I'm taking myself up in mass while keeping my b/f low.

I'm not sure how high I'll get... but I'm keeping the 6 pack on my way up.

Im trying to right now.I need to gain 5lbs by the 14th.Any tips on foods to eat to help with bulking(dont want to eat too much junk)?Ive just been eating alot of whatever sounds good.

Lots of carbs. I've been eating about 5 cups of white rice a day...

I probably need more though...(no, that isn't the ONLY thing I've been eating...lol)

Add a gallon of milk a day? ;)

I drank a half gallon of milk at work last night ....that didnt feel too good :P I still ended up coming home and having a little over 1/4 gallon of milk...I thought I was going to die lol

actually, my back is about 100% now. right now i'm on the finishing end of a training cycle for a bench contest on the 21st.

after that, hst?
 
After seeing how far below 10% bf I can get I'll start bulking again. I can't wait. Just a few more weeks.

I consider my fridge empty unless all the food in it is surrounded by other food on all sides :D .
 
Just started bulking. I dieted down from 190 to 180.3 for a meet took 6 weeks 'off' (stopped WSB and just did GM's and benches eod). Now I'm trying to get to a hard-ish 190-193 by August but I've lost my eating discipline. White rice sounds good. I guess I shouldn't worry about GI index and shit like that for know, just get my protein and calories in. Oh well, here goes nothing!

Side note:
I'm planning on eating 3lbs. of regular ground beef (microwave broiled) along with 4 cans of tuna everyday and as much quality carbs as I can stomach before 6-7pm. How does that sound to you guys? Do you think the fat in the beef will be a problem?

im definitly bulking. up from 235 to 250


hey wolf........... 1 word = almonds. and losts of them. they are wonderful for taste/healthy fat/ and antiocident.

I have been hitting Sonic Drive In almost every day:

Here is a typical order:

1 Foot-Long Chili Cheese Coney
2 Grilled Chicken Sandwiches
1 order of Mozzarella Sticks

I have also been eating at a lot of Chinese Buffets.

I stay away from foods such as (cakes, donuts, or other sugary garbage). These foods throw off my blood sugar and make me sick.
 
I am eating at least 6 meals a day and training no more than 3 days a week.

Also, one exercise per body part and one set per exercise. . .the result has been rapid weight gain (8 solid lbs since Feb).

u a beast. i have been downing a half a bag of deep fat fried chiken tenderloins with a half a bag of waffle fries and wash it down with a quater gallon milk........ yum

At 5 feet 9.5 inches, I have hit a 37 inch waist (looks blocky!!). The muscle is thick and my abs have good definition.

I have distention from water and food (probably gas as well).

I think heavy squats, deads, rows, and good mornings have caused my abdominal area to thicken.
 
I'm bulking now... but I can't wait until I gain enough that I need to start cutting. Lifting = fun. Eating all the time = not so fun.

maybe if you replaced the Cold Stone ice cream, 2 large pizzas, In-n-Out double doubles for some better choices, you wouldn't feel like a heiffer!

after reading how these guys bulk.....my choices seem like health food. :) a little sushi and ice cream on the weekend, seems like an appetizer.

follow my plan for bulking. Monday morning threw Friday when i get off work. then from when i get home on friday untill i go to bed on Sunday night, i eat what i want and dont count any calories or what kind they are or whatever.

monday - friday i try to eat the following everyday:
1lb ground round
1lb ground turkey
12 eggs.
quater to half a gallon of milk
4 scoops of protein.
3 apples
3 bagels
2 potatoes
2-4 packets of oatmeal.

so im bulking but its clean........ then i like to visit buffets on the weekend.

holy crap! i couldnt eat 12 eggs! i would lose my girlfriend! BRRRRT!!! i could do 2 lbs of meat, the milk probably. the lower carb intake seems to help keep the stomach space. this looks like it would go hand in hand with DC training.(as far as protein recommendation goes)

something like that........ i also eat almonds. at least 2 handfuls a day. they are loaded with fat, but the healthy kind. this diet i constructed works for me, but has some Anabolic diet and the dc diet.

That looks like a very good diet to get bigger on.

I just eat a lot, try to make sure I take in plenty of protein, eat meat and eggs as much as I can, and maybe throw in some protein shakes if I don't feel I am getting enough protein from other sources.

I don't sweat carbs and fat too much, but I do not eat pastry's or traditional sweets.

It is not rocket science, really. Want to get bigger, eat more, want to get smaller, eat less.

Im losing mine!!!! All those big meals are slowly mounting. Im getting stronger though :)
 
Been consciously bulking for about 6 weeks now. I haven't weighed myself for a few days, but I've put on at least 8 pounds.

My definition is disappearing though, which is a shame, but I'm not about to lose focus. I want 185 by August. 177 last time I hit the scales.

My plan is to continue what I'm doing atm until June 27 when I will take 8 days off (holiday :)), then start WSB on July 6.
 
Not me I'm maintaining and soon to be shredding up.

But I have snuck up to just under 210lbs without even trying :)
 
weighed in at 230 on thursday, but im taking a break from lifting, gonna go back probably on tuesday.
 
Fuck the cutting for right now.... I want to hit 280 by next spring and 300 by the winter of 2004. I am currently in the 245 to 250 range around 11% bf or so

Necesary evil to get rid of the fat so I can bulk up again but without the high bf%, plus I feel great when I see a mirror whereas before I had to suck my stomach in.

Bulkings the most fun but fat is bad, I don't want to end up looking like a fat guy.

Awesome food!! What's your weight / bf% btw ??
(Gonna adapt this list to my size. My last diet was similar.)

I love ordering a pizza, sitting down and devouring it. All mine, all gone. I am trying to figure out what kind of $ I will need to feed a family (when I have one) and myself. I think I will have to order one for them and one for me all on a teachers salary!!!!!! lolololol

My wife and I spend a minimum of $400/month on grocery's. That's for the 2 of us, and a 9 month old.

That doesn't include any supplements. (Protein, weight gainer, creatine, vitamins, etc....) That's just food.

I take in about 4900 cals a day, just to give you an idea of what it might cost.:)

Me! Me! Count me in!

I'm planning on gettin' up to be a HYOOOGE 132lbs! At least 130lbs by August. Whoa - stand back.....:D

As for food: whatever my BF feeds me, usually alot of dead animals with some carbs and vegies included. Oh, and beer too! :beer:
