i was hardcore into this game years ago

and in my prime would absolutely own 99% of the world with any race

I loved SC before all the hacks hit the line and blizzard said screw it. The Reaver Drop! But I built my own strat before I left, an Ultra Fast Muta Rush. I could have a dozen Muta's being built while another dozen where being sent, and that is before you even though of having Reavers.

Of course, if you rushed me with just one SUV I would be dead, but as soon as my Muta's hit your Minreal Line, you were out of the game unless you had 4 turrets. I microed 3 Muta's per SUV in sub groups, plus the trample effect mutas had where it would hit another target for less damage and then again for lesser damage, whipe out a line in no time.

But I was like, 14.

every map had a different strategy

but my favorite was the scout rush, if you were good with grouping units and quick with the mouse you could take out a HUGE portion of someone's base with scouts

not to mention when fully upgraded they own everything in the air

then i would mind control every race (brood wars) and max unit air rush, insane
