i know some of my friends do it cause they dont want pics to end up on their page.. take this for example one night my boy got erally drunk and passed out so i put my balls on his forehead and had someone take a pic.. then posted it on his myspace.. next morning he goes to work and all his co-workers are like 'bro wtf is that pic on your myspace'
 
Even when I did allow comments at all, I had to approve them, for the simple fact that people could post anything there. Something offensive, obscene, in poor taste. And then since it is on your page, it relfects on YOU.

I have family members and co workers on my friends list. There are certain activities that they should NOT know about.

Now since I am single I don't allow any comments because chicks love to post shit like:
"can't wait to see you again"
"we should get together soon"
"last night was incredible"

if you're not likely to be on myspace every day then an unwanted comment could be there a while before you see it.

put it this way. i had a female put some shit on there refering to things we never did involving sex. i mean she got real graffic and i didnt notice it for a few days and had other females get grossed out so now i have mine set to approve all comments first.
