lol, i wish.
i got a lot done today- i'm working on a 4 part project. Each one is like a mountain of work. Part 3 is the largest.
I got part 1 done today. Hopefully, I can finish part 2 tomorrow.
That leaves part 3 for monday, tuesday, and half of wednesday, when I have to give an update on the progress and have 1,2, and 3 finished.
Thursday and Friday are for part 4 and any changes.
The funny thing is, I have NO CLUE how to do part 4. NONE. It's so beyond what I know that I don't even know what it would entail- i just know i can't do it.

I don't need to know any of that- i did all of that today and tomorrow's work is all graphic design stuff. It's easy enough, just time consuming.
what i do need to do (and I have no idea if this is even possible) is...
I need to recreate a web page on another site (tigerdirect) onto our own. Like a mirror of that page at the top, and then I need to add my own content to the bottom.
I really have no clue how to do that...The only thing i can think of doing is taking screen shots and putting them in as jpgs above my content.
what do i sound like? super hot, right?

Umm.
Take that page html whatever, load into dreamweaver, frontpage, notepad and add your stuff to the bottom.
I'm not a web designer, but the other option is add a html control that displays that tigerdirect page, and then your text at the bottom.
Or use frames kinda like how google cache looks when displaying a page (eg: <iframe src ="" >connecting another html page</iframe>)
Tell your company to hire a web designer.

yeah, see, i'm not a programmer. I know how i want it to look and how it SHOULD function, but having it work also seems like I'd need a hole in the time/space continuum.
here's the thing though, the other site's code (I have to do it for a few etailers, including tigerdirect) use a content management system so the code does not give me the content.
i either have to show their whole page somehow (not really sure how to do this, but i really only want to show part of it, with our stuff below). If i just link to it (and make it magically appear)... then... omg, i don't know.
it has to be done by friday, that's what i DO know, but i don't even understand it enough to explain it!

You just want the output code which you view in the browser window. Copy/paste it. It won't be dynamic but it'll work.
Learn InDesign if you want to design websites without getting technical and developing them. Most fancy madison ave or san fran design firms use indesign/photoshop/illustrator to design sites. Then pass off to developer groups to actually develop it after the "user design" has been signed off.

i know... I don't have inDesign. I was hoping i had it at work but I don't.
Anyway, you really think copying the tigerdirect code will work? because it doesn't work on my own site- if someone copied my code, they'd just get errors.
i'll pm you today with some real samples (don't want to give out my companies url here).

It should unless the html code is in different frames, pages, etc. The html code is what the browser gets and displays. It might be the code that is sent expires after a bit and no longer works. Not sure but if so, the frames option is probably your best bet.
eg:

insert your own html code here
except you gotta tweak that frame there so it fits etc. Been years since I've done plain html.
