When the contest organizer calls you to personally answer any questions, you have to go.

Not my intentions at all. I always believe that anyone can do anything if they want to. I've came a long way over the past 10 years...from near death at 152 pounds through many health problems and injuries to be where I am now (around 290).
I am just about to finally earn my College degree (never thought it would happen, taken me nearly 8 years).
I am also with a WONDERFUL woman whom I hope to marry and start a family with soon (Lord, after my past experiences over the past year or so...I NEVER thought that this would happen).
I have learned that you have to try. You never have to make an A or be 'perfect' for the other person in the relationship...you just have to try. Trying means a lot in school as well in relationships...but it means SOOO MUCH in Strongman.
NEVER worry if you can do something or not. One member of THIS board competes in Strongman and in 2002 his mother competed in the women's division in Boston. She was in her 60's if I remember correctly. When it came to the tire flip the women had to flip a 450 pound tire for 100' and many competitors finished the event easily...including Jill Mills (World's Strongest Woman) and Heini K (runner up). When this 'older' woman gave her attempt to flip the tire she fought a single flip near the time limit of 75 seconds. I remember that the tire hit the ground (completing the one flip) just as the buzzer went off and not a soul was sitting down or being quiet... She TRIED!!!! THAT is Strongman...
