Who else believes in small doses??

Here are some thoughts since one rarely sees guys asking good questions like this one.

If you can make solid gains at 250mg - why go up until you need to? I think very few newbies want to turn into a beast overnight and become the walking posterboy for roids and sides.

10 lbs. is a major alteration on the body and very noticable (esp. on a newb). 20 lbs. has often been attained with newbs running 250-500mg. Why gain 30 in 2 months? Think about 30 lbs. of steak on the table. Doesn't sound healthy to me although I'm sure someone will come up with a dingbat theory that it helps by making the heart work harder.

What do I think are reasonable first and 2nd cycles: 500 mg weekly tops. Look at the gains you got from 250 - very solid. If you find you need more, add more next cycle. 2 drugs maximum as all the cycling theory on this board probably amounts to less than a 3% difference if that and a giant time waste. Focus on important stuff like training. Basic cycles are not rocket science.

Time between cycles - does the phrase minimum mean anything to people? Time on = time off is the minimum responsible limit. That would probably mean that it would be a whole lot better to wait longer. You might even find that minimal time off is why everyone has to keep racheting the dosages up and you have small guys taking 1.5 grams. I've taken periods of 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years between cycles and let me tell you that I gained like mad on 1/2 the dosage after 1 year off (and I was bigger and leaner before beginning so genetic potential should work against me). I can't illustrate how important this is as I've seen guys who play time-on/off come off for longer periods and lose major poundage while guys who take it slow can go natural and still maintain their muscle (providing no one is above gent. limit).

Just some thoughts.
 
You go PURE I'm plannign on same type of low dose b/c you won't know until you try even to some might be waste of money but health is mine main concern. I'm going to run a cycle of Prop at 150-200mg a week for 6 weeks and winny at 15-25 mg ed for 6 weeks as well. i'll start low and go up liek shown with winny and prop. this will be a short and low cycle just to see how my body reacts. Plus i don't want to look obvious so 10 pounds will eb th emost i would want to gain but i like to shed liek 5-10 pds of BF
 
This is a very interesting post. Pure, how have your side effects been?? I assume that they have been minimal??? Ive been thinking of doing something similar although i was going to frontload 1000mg during the first week and then 250 mg per week after that. I was going to run it for 16 weeks.
 
I like to go high-low....the theory being that very high doses of fast-acting androgens for a short period of time (4-6 weeks) will actually upregulate receptors and also cause satelite cell formation. Everytime I have done this with stuff like tren and suspension, i am later able to grow to almost the same level on very low doses (1 time it was 300mg of test, another was 15mg of d-bol a day, lol). what i mean is that i don't think high doses impair your ability to gain off low doses later on.

This is my 2nd cycle. First was a stupid one, didn't know what I was doing, someone just said here take this and I took it lol. Was doing as much as 1g for 3 weeks of sust only. I was mislead. Now I'm very educated as far as running cycles, even giving people advice ;) Bought books and everything lol

As far as sides...none whatsoever, got blood work done, everything is fine. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Damn bro!! That's good as hell, I didn't really notice my gains until well 5/6. That's great that your body reacts rather quickly.
 
hahahaha some moron tried giving me bad karma because im going on a 5-6 month long cycle. funny shit. only thing is though they dont have enough karma to begin with so it only came out grey. better luck next time. ;)

hey Pure, i know your my bro and everything but i must give u bad karma too because 20 weeks is waaaaayyy too long. ahh the newbies who try and preach what's good and what's not. funny shit. :p
 
I say hit 500 mg/wk at least on the first cycle and get the most out of the first cycle.

i did deca/sust at 400/500 respectively, gained 40 lbs and kept 30 post cycle

after that, i started upping the dose of test by 200 mg/wk per subsequent cycle.

i don't beleive in doing 250 at first, you might gain big, you might not . .
