I've been doing a extra low carb diet the past three weeks while doing a 8 wk cut/lean bulk cycle. I've been told to stay away from powder protein and stick with chicken breast, tuna, turkey & xtra lean beef. Well, there are alot of times I'm on the go (post workout & traveling) that I can't eat the real deal forms of protein. I currently have a bucket of ISOpure Zero Carb Van. It taste like shit and I have to add a scoop of Dr. Smoothie Van just to bear the taste. Of course that adds carbs, which I'm trying to avoid right now. Is there any truth that protein shakes are not good during cut cycle? If they are indeed okay... Exactly which one will best benifit me for total bf lose and maintaining lean mass? I've been looking at the whey proteins at the proteinfactory, but there are several to chose from and I'm getting a little confused on which may be the best for me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I love ABB Extreme 50 Banana Cream drink & Labrada Lean Body Gold Bars, but they may not aid in the overall results I'm looking for with my current cycle.
