i completely love the idea of comparing tragedies. because it's so easy and straightforward, and not massively subjective at all. furthermore, it's no big problem to convince everyone else that you're right. which makes this discussion both very educational and very fun. oh, and it isn't pointlessly crass, either.

I didn't realize a truly level playing field and holding everyone to the same standards was racist, but so be it.
