Which one do you use for your Macs?

People who use macs are the same people who drive Volkswagen Jettas. The same people who shop at wholefood stores and the very same people who want the save the whales, but not humanity. Bunch of assholes.

lol@ living in the 90's
I went to Best Buy Sunday, the pc sections WAS LOADED, you couldn't even test a computer in the section.

The 5 Macs off to the side...... empty

I use a Mac for my work and I use Leopard. I'm thinking of switching to Snow Leopard once there is a decent piece of software for it. Although it's new, I don't have a specific need for it right now.

I also use a PC for my games (Mac games suck).

In the end, it depends on what you plan to use your computer for. If you don't use all the features of Leopard, then spending more for it seems silly (IMHO).

i thought snow leopard didnt pose any software incompatibilities coming from leopard. i guess ill have to look into that a bit further.

unfortunately, the pc gaming world is dead and has been for the past few years, everything is console dominated. and on top of that, there are a shitload of ports to os x now. i decided to test out a few cider ports recently and was impressed by the amount of games available and how smooth they ran on the dual core.

most if not all of the limitations mac's had in comparison to pc's have been pretty much nullified since apple started going with a unix based operating system.

i agree that the brand marketing behind apple is annoying at best and there are plenty of yuppie fanboys out there who make me violent, but disregarding that, from a practical standpoint mac performance is superb. coming from nearly 15 years of pc use, it wasnt hard for me to crossover at all.

I've found a list here.

Mac OS X v10.6: About incompatible software

I've never been a fan of console shooters. I guess I'm to used to the WASD configuration to switch.

I run windows 7 here.

Macintosh computers do not solve any problems.
