which meds do dr's give for gyno?

my nipples have been hurting and i'm starting to get gyno. i just went to the dr and he took some blood tests to check levels. when he calls with the results i want to make sure that i get something from him that will help me take it away. there isn't any hardness, just puffy nipples and fat i guess. i'm pretty pissed/embarassed about it.

what meds work for gyno or the gyno that I have?

or a-dex. After I got tren gyno, my blood results came back and showed that everything was within normal ranges except my progesterone. It was extremely low. He actually prescribed 'progesterone cream' to get it back up to level, which surprised me. I never got it filled, he said that it would make the lump smaller, but it probably wouldn't go away and as of weds, I had gyno surgery to have it removed.

i don't have a lump or anything. I am going to read up on the meds listed, thanks.

what about femara? i've read people like a combo of femara/nolva. any others?

I find that the bros on here know more about AAS tan 99.95% of all doctors (the other 0.05% is jacked). SO I would just ask these guys (and gals, ok?) about that. I'm not jumping on ya or nothing, not at all! Take care, chief.

that's why i'm asking, my dr. will be calling me with my results and I need to know what to ask him for. i want to be prepared because I'm sure he probably doesn't know too much about it.

bro, most doctors , GP, wont prescribe you a thing. They'll say, "just give it time", etc... it's hard to find a doc. to even give you 20 tabs of nolva much less letrozole. If you got gyno, jump on some letrozole asap... :coffee:

agree, though letrozole is not the only effective AI for gyno reduction/reversal.

what are my other options? I have no idea.

AIFM, Aromasin and to a lesser extent arimidex.

faslodex may also be an option, it the most potent of the newer SERMS (though its not really a serm since its activity is almost exclusively antagonistic at the receptor)- though its likely to present the same issues that arise with letro (ie often being just too strong).

letro is a great and very potent drug, its just too potent for many and if you need long term use to see regression, most find it unsuitable

Disagree. Aromasin is a poor choice for gyno treatement, especially advanced stages.

This was years ago though, but my doc prescribed it to me no problem. I told him what I was taking and he wrote out the script, and even referred me to a gyno surgeon. I remember getting the script filled, and the pharmacist actually asked me a bunch of questions on why this doctor was prescribing me this. I told him it was none of his business, and if he had questions, talk to my doctor.

you were lucky, most doctors are not so open minded or understanding. its appalling some of the individual stories, just on these forums, of how judgemental they are of steroids and bodybuilding

none of the AI's are guaranteed to work especially if extensive ductal branching has occured.

disagree with your opinion about aromasin, while its definitely not as strong as letrozole, it is much more suitable for extended use.

Ok X and Mac, lets not get in the letro/AIFM or A-sin argument again!!!

Its true that MOST doctor wont prescribe anything, most wont know that AIs and a SERM will do anything anyway for the condition.....they might refer you to a plastic sergeon, thts about it
