which is better, the ipod or zune?

i want one or the other from santa but im not sure which one
i know the ipod has alot of accessories, and theres the itouch that i would LOVEEEEE to have but for the price theres not alot of memory
i also know the zune has a fm tuner and a bigger screen, because i also would want to dl movies on it to watch it at the gym while im doing the cardio thing....yes kb im going to the gym so dont start

I have a 40g Creative MP3 player that I love. I also just bought a 8g nano for my car because most new stereos are set up to work with iPod. I love my Creative but finding ANY accessories for it is nearly impossible. I wanted a car charger but would have to import it from Europe. You'll find that its much easier to get just about anything that will go with or fit the iPod. I use the iPod shuffle to workout with and highly recommend that little guy. Volume/sound is just as good as the big ones.

I have a Zune and it is great. I can play movies, downloading music and videos to it is a breeze and it is much better than the iPod I had (which broke). And the Zune was about $150 less than a comparable iPod so I saved money.

I also have an old RCA Lyra that has been kickin for about 5 years and is still working.

My first MP3 player was a RCA Lyra with a memory card. Fucker still works and I've beat the shit out of it!

that is the one I have! It is a great little player. I got a 1GB memory card for it and it holds a shit load of music.

It eats batteries pretty quick so when i first got it I also got rechargeable batteries. It has saved me a fortune over the years.

Having used both of the newest versions of each I would go with the Ipod. I like the interface a lot better (haven't tried a touch screen ipod yet) on the Ipod. The muli-button system on the zune is a bit clumsy compared to the "wheel" on the Ipod. The screen size is barely different between the full sized Ipod and the Zune. Plus the Ipods have more support and accessories.

I have this Sansa, I am VERY happy with it. I have the 4gb model, but the cool thing is that it also has microSD card expansion slot for additional memory....AND it has many accessories and is also compatible with ipod docking stations and many ipod accessories as well. Plus it has GREAT sound and video playback! I actually bought mine 2 months ago from Circuit City for $79.99 which was an internet special at that time making it cheaper than the 2gb model. "That was a bargain for me."
