Which do you preffer?????

a gym like the Y, gold's(the well known gyms) were you have families and kids running around (hot ass's) and play pop music.....or do you like cave gyms, were the beast's workout, lighting is usually darker, mean heavy music is mostly played and you can get a workout in without a old person stealing your machine?
 
I'll jump on this one....I prefer "cave gyms, were the beast's workout, lighting is usually darker, mean heavy music is mostly played and you can get a workout in without a old person stealing your machine"......this to me is where I get a better workout. People are actually there to work out and not just there to hit on people as what I've experienced in the other gyms.

- although I've never worked out at Gold's before so I'm not downing them at all.
 
Dungeons are good, but I still prefer all the cute hotties at the fitness centers. They give me more motivation to bust my ass. I swear, having a cute chick next to you, will automatically cause a strength increase of 10%. Some of my best sets have been when a sexy girl has spotted me.
 
I just switched gyms after a long ass time, finally in a real gym instead of a freaking whimp factory. I'm at a World's Gym in Burlingame, I can actually go in the afternoon and have equipment to work out on, where as before I could only go between 12am-7am, or else forget it. I know for a fact the last place was eclipsing fire code they had so many damn people. New place has about 4x the equipment and about 1/4 the membership :D It rocks.
 
I hate crowded gyms. Im there to work out, not to make friends and socialize. I preffer the Cave gym described above.
I hate when theres tons of people the and have to wait to use equipment, while 2 people are just sitting there bullshiting instead of working out.:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
Yep, I love to go in there and see guys on the decline bench with 115 telling thier "training partner" about thier 600# leg press for reps... right
 
I've never had problems with crowded gyms. All I need is a barbell and some weights, and I can ALWAYS find those available. Even if the squat rack is packed, I'll just power clean a bar, and do front squats until it becomes available. Same thing with the dumbells. The light ones might be hard to get to, but the heavier ones have cobwebs on them.

Sometimes I might have to wait a bit for a empty bench, but I can always do something else until it is Free. And i NEVER bench on mondays.
