which crumb diet for me?

ok, here is my situation! i am going to Las Vagas and Miami at the beginning of Aug., i want to be cut. at this time i am 6'5" and weight 250 w/ about 13% bf. i suffer from the spare tire and cannot seem to get rid of it! i would like to try to crumb diet(original), but in the past i have found that cheat days help me stick to a diet, i mean without them i find myself snacking on bs stuff. should i do the modified diet, or just hit the original diet hard and strict?

does salmon have to be consumed, will tuna be ok? i am a college student and from what i have seen salmon can be quite expensive.

as for workouts, what is a good split as far as bodyparts go?
 
Personally, I did the modified diet and had great results. I lost around 15 lbs. and went from 14.8% - 10.2% bf in 2 months. I found the cheat day to be refreshing and I think it helped to keep my strength from depleting. You can always start w/ the modified and if you aren't seeing the gains you would like, switch to the original. It might be an easier transition. Good Luck!
