Just what the title says. Which ai do you prefer to use on cycle and why do you use that particular one.
Ill start:
Having been in this game for over 20 years the incorporation of an ai on cycle has been one of the biggest ad best changes I have seen when it comes to aas use. Before they became available the only option was to try to limit or control sides, not actually manage the estrogen hormone.
I have tried the 3 most popular ai's, stane, dex, and letro. Letro is quite simply too potent for me, even on heavy cycles. I have tried low doses and varied administration schedules and I just cant seem to keep from crushing my e2 levels. Letro is a no go for me.
Adex I used for years. Its actually the first ai I used and was pretty successful with its use almost immediately. Aside from a one year break where I experimented trying to tame letro and incorporate it into 2 cycles dex has been the ai I used the most.
When exemestane started becoming popular it had a few things that were appealing to me. First of all I like the way it works. Being a type 1 ai. I also liked its minimal and in some cases positive impact on igf. Same with lipids. While these are small when compared to adex they are none the less benefits. I made the switch to exemestane and I have to say it was a bit rough at first. It took me a while to dial in my dosage properly. It needs to be taken more frequently and what ended up bing at a higher dose that I expected and also was reading others suggest. That being said once I got stane dialed in properly I havent looked back. It has become my ai of choice. I think it is a very effective , yet forgiving ai. When I get bloodwork the impact on lipids is minimal and if I use red yeast rice on my cycle my lipid values actually stay pretty darn good. AAs far as my igf levels I have tested them a few times on cycle when using stane for my ai and it turns out it depends what steroid I am using what effect shows up in my igf levels. The ai seems to be a nn factor , which is good.
So after all that Stane is my choice of ai for its effectiveness, its MOA, and its forgiveness.
