Im looking into starting a dirt bike rental company. it will be the only one in south florida. so far i know im going to rent out a 99' rm 250, since i own it all ready, but now i want to buy 2 more bike to rent out also.

im pretty sure one's going to be a 4x4 4-wheeler, still researching which brand and size, but the other bike i want to be a all for fun 4-wheeler. so here's the bikes im looking to choose between. the most important thing is for it to be easy to operate, and reliable.

1. Raptor 660

2. Honda 400 ex

3. Cannondale

4. Bombarder 650

5. Banshee 350 (dont know about this one, being a 2 stroke and all)

for an all out balls-to-the-wall atv, you simply CAN NOT BEAT the Banshee... For dirt purposes, I'd never own a 4-stroke, unless I needed something 4X4 for yard work... But for all out fun, the banshee is the way to go... The Raptor is a nice bike too, and at top end is slightly faster than the banshee, but NOTHING will take a Banshee off the line, and unless you're gonna be going 70mph in the dirt all the time, there's no need to get the raptor... As far as reliability goes, I'll take a two stroke over a four any day of the week. 2-strokes can really take a beating...

That will be a decent business, BUT make sure you have DAMN GOOD INSURANCE...

If you are renting quads to novice riders and such, I would get a Honda 300ex. If you are renting to decent riders for trail rides, get the 400ex. Another good buy would be the new Suzuki Z400, it has electric start plus reverse.

I am not too good on 4x4 quads, but you can go to www.atving.com and look at their forums and ask question.

I do agree with Flashman as the Banshee being the all out badest quad, that is why I have an 02. http://corey.tekker.com/mybanshee.htm . These are OLD OLD pics, but all my new mods are listed.

you dont even know what insurance cost's, i just got off the phone with my agent, liability alone is $10,000 a year.

and also, if this bike was for my personal use only, there would have been no choice, it would have been a banshee,

like I said above.....;)

I'm building a house and can use the cash...
