Adrian Adonis -
"On July 4, 1988, Keith "Adrian Adonis" Franke died when his rented minivan hit a moose while on a wrestling tour in Newfoundland, Canada. Moose/vehicle accidents are rather common in Newfoundland in the summer months, however very few are fatal (maybe 5-6 deaths per year). Adonis' accident happenned just before sunset, with the low-lying sun blinding the driver. In the crash were wrestlers Pat Kelly and Dave McKigney. The driver who was also a wrestler Mike Kelly was not killed but had a severely injured leg."

I really liked Adrian Adonis, I grow-up watching him in Minnesota when he was starting out in the AWA. He teamed with Jesse "The Body" Ventura , as one half of the East-West Connection, before all the freakish make-up transformations. Adonis's last match in the WWF was at Wrestlemania 3 against Roddy Piper. Adonis was ahead of his time. Taking gimmicks in wrestling to new levels. I hope he is someday inducted into the Hall Of Fame.
Adrian Adonis could go! Great worker...Heard that he hit the gym hard and worked out hard...Looked like he also hit the KFC hard...but none-the-less could move like no ones business...a perfect example of don't judge the book by the cover!
