Where the Fuck is our Freedom?

Good comment sparetire, I agree completely.

As far as "comparing the US to a third world country" blah blah blah, apples and oranges... I hate to wake you from your dream man, the people of the United States account for roughly 1/28th of the world population. I think it only makes sense to compare OUR standard of living to the baseline consisting of the standard of living for the majority of the humans on the planet (china and india sitting at just over a billion each).

Killer clown, I think you need to see the world and grow up a bit to see just how good you have it in Canada. While the rules do suck, they keep the majority in line and "safe" but man, you are far from oppressed. I agree with Ziggy, quit your whining and do something about it!

Since that was my argument I'll address this. The whole purpose of this thread (if there was ever a point to it in the first place) was to point how our government oppresses our civil liberties and freedoms by cracking down on the use and distribution of controlled substances like AAS.

My argument the whole time has been that there is more opportunity for advancement in the US than any other free nation. The operative work is here "free". You hardly have the same freedom of speech and expression and and other civil liberties in third world countries as you do here in the US and other democratic societies. It would be impossible to arrive at some "baseline" to compare our standard of living with underadvanced and primitive societies regardless of the world popuation at large. It's irrelevant.

Take boxing or wrestling for example. Why do think there are different weight classes? Should there be some "baseline" by which to measure the boxers of all weight classes? The same goes for BBing.

No fun here in california. No needles, no guns, no dirt bikes, no wearing shirts with sports teams to school...no fun being in the most liberal state. Damn I wish I could go back to south dakota. The guys in canada aren't getting gear any easier than we are in the US. Possession of testosterone or oxandrolone deca whatever is legal in the US too if it's an amount for personal use. We live in a great country, those of you who have never given up your freedom to fight for the freedom of others have no idea what the fuck freedom means. Should people be able to walk into a pharmacy and buy steroids without a precription? I would personally love to, but I would also like to drive without a seatbelt and ride my motorcycle without a helmet. For the greater good, it is better the way it is. the people who want gear get it, and it is just hard enough to come by that they are not willing to share with the highshcool football players and wrestlers. The added difficulty in getting steroids also makes people do their homework before deciding what the want to put in their bodies. It's a pain in the ass but worth it in my opinion. Yes, steroids get into the hands of kids and morons all the time but it would be worse if anyone could just go to the store and buy what they want. One last note, those of you who want as much freedom as possible better vote republican. Sure the dems will let gays get married, rally for abortions, and take the word God out of the Pledge of Alligiance, you know, all that important stuff. Then they will take your guns, enforce eminent domain on your property, force your kids to sit through hours and hours of gay tolerence classes and give them ADD drugs if they don't want to be there. Then they will force a crappy government health care system on us, and open the borders to all who want to come here and overwhelm our already swamped hospitals and clinics. Sure the democrats are great everyone gets what they want. Just be careful what you ask for. Democrats= judicial activism which will lead to less freedom, trust me on this one. Simple common sense, we have a constitution which gives us freedom, the judges intrepret the constitution, if they don't act we keep our freedom, activism can only take the freedom away. They are not going to legalize drugs too many democrat union jobs (prison guards, cops) depend on drugs being illegal, it would be political suicide for a liberal candidate to legalize drugs.

Who said democrat=liberal? Most democrats aren't ultra liberal gay lovers... this is how the republican party gets support. I'm tired of this bullshit.

Nothings going to get done. No matter how much you bitch or how much your blood pressure goes up from typing and yelling at your computer. No official is going to come on to elitefitness and say omg that guy has a great point let me go change it now. So if you cant change it dont worry about it so much.

P.S. Isnt this a exercise forum?

I moved to Europe almost 15 years ago from the US (and am still a US citizen). Although the US will ALWAYS occupy a special place in my heart, there's no way I'd go back - at least not these days. The radicalism in thought that has taken over (e.g. Christian fundamentalism) plus the mindless politics & never-ending crime, hatred & violence all detract seriously from quality of life. Very sad - I truly hope things get better in the future.

Well don't believe all the hype and euro media outlets...all is not chaos and death in america...the christian fundmentalist thing is overblown. It's not as bad as peeps make it seem orb

so glad I live in canada
it seems that all too often we emmulate everything that happens south of the border, everything from fashions to gang violence makes its way up here. But this is one area where I am very glad we havent gone that route. Personal amount of weed are about to become legal, gay marriages same thing, personal amounts of steroids are legal....No matter how shithouse poor I am, if I need medical care, i get it......

its taken me years to get here, but I am defintely proud of where I am from

English people are the same, always bitching about England doesn't allow X,Y,and Z, and English people are always doing A, B, and C wrong. People here need a reality check as well and realise just how good they have it in comparison to other countries. Just like America, England is a fucking great country to live in.
It be sweet to go back to England, i can get better health care.
America is a 2nd World country in health care:(
