Hey girls!!

I need some advice about deep conditioning/oil treatments.

Anyone have a home remedy they love? Will settle for a great pharmacy brand... I don't want to have to shell out for something more "reputable". Help a sista out!

It depends what kind of hair you have (thick/thin/natural curl/frizz/colored/etc) and lifestyle... (how many times you shower per day and temperatures/the weather) it's ideal to wash/condition once every other day the natural oils from your scalp will keep your hair healthy... but I have tried some good products.. oils like Emu, Jojoba and Morroccan and there is a specific conditioner I would recommend if you do have dye in your hair, it's called Dumb Blonde (After Highlights, Damaged or Chemically Treated Hair) by Bed Head... it's awesome. For $20 you can find it at the drug store and it smells delicious. I use that stuff once a week as a mask... and every other day I just use Fructis because it works and it's cheap.

But my advice to you is to look up what kind of natural oils will be best for your hair type. It can make a huge difference.

Coconut oil! I use that stuff like its my j-o-b! On my color treated hair it works magic. I just slather it on, leave it for 30, rinse with shampoo, then condition like normal. It's magical!!
