Where does a beginner start??

I'm 29yrs. old and have never taken anything other than over the counter supplements. My workouts are still good, but I"m just not getting the results I want anymore and it's getting harder and harder to stay reasonably (in my opinion) thin. I am considering trying out anabolics, but I will probably start with a prohormone or whatever you call the "legal steriods".
Where does a beginner start???

They start by researching this board for a good few months. Dont waste your money on prohormones.

They start by evaluating their diet...if you're trying to stay thin, diet is obviously the key. If your diet is on point, take a good look at your training. If that's good to go...then think about juice as a supplemental boost to your training.

If you post your diet and training, I'm sure we can give you some tips on some things you can change to see some results.

Agree with the 2 above. Diet gives results - don't waste $$ until diet is rock solid. Post up training routine and your diet.....

It's easy to get stale...your body will become accustomed to workouts even after a couple months of the same routine. If not being "thin" enough is an issue i suggest throwing in an extra 45minutes of eliptical 2-4 times a week. Make sure you find your target heart rate for burning fat and keep it very near that rate while using the machine. I also would suggest changing your routine if you havent recently. Try doing new exercises along with keeping the main exercises such as squats, deadlifts, shoulder presses and bench presses since these will help you burn the most calories. Changing orders of exercises can also be beneficial to shocking your muscles.

As far as I know, steroids won't make you cut.

Diet and exercise is the key.

Here's a pic of me at age 30 before I ever touched AAS:

No shorcuts, just consistent hard work.

What I like about cutting is that even guys who can bulk up with tons of juice an protein still have to work to get cut. IMO, It's a more even field.

And I've seen a few ladies at my gym who are nearly as lean, if not more, and most likely not on any drugs at all.
