are you serious? marshall is an ok school..the people there arent that great..just a bunch of local fucks from WV and southern Ohio..i have friends that go there..

decent party school, the bar/club scene in huntington isnt too bad...all the girls out are ho's...dont let anybody tell you differently..its WAY too easy to hook up going out in huntington brotha...beleee dat

Marshall football is fun...thats about it...i grew up in huntington and I went away to school to Miami U in ohio if that tells you anything..

not being biased here, but Miami (OH) U is one of the best public schools in the nation

look in US NEWS AND WORLD REPORT and it has miami as one of the top educational institutions for value.

at miami, beautiful girls man..ranked third in playboy in an issue a few years back in the COUNTRY (behind Florida State and UCLA)

Great education...again, highly regarded by employers all over the country..one of the best business schools in the country..Basically Miami is a minor league baseball team for corporations like Proctor and Gamble, Charles Schwabb, etc.

Great party scene..Greek life is 70% of campus..plenty of frats to choose from..the uptown bar scene is great..something for everybody on any given night..its just a party school.

I would highly recommend looking into it man..if you got any questions about miami hit me up brotha..

GOod luck with the financial aid man..i feel you on that shit..i'm still dealin with shit to pay for my chiropractic school this fall.

Yeah Marshall is one of my last options. I hope to get into a better school though.

I got a 1230 SAT so Im not sure if Bucknell will let me in and if they do they might not give me that much aid. Same for Miami (Oxford OH). I will get in but I doubt that Miami will give me much money. It is expensive to go there too. Im still hoping though that I will end up going to one of those 2 with marshall bieng about 9 or 10 on my list.

I'm an MU grad. With an SAT like that you might get a decent scholarship. Didn't they do something with the SAT scoring system? When I was applying to college that was considered a very high score.

Sugar Daddy, one good thing about WV colleges is that your money goes a lot further. I started at Virginia Tech and after two years there the tuition went up so much that it simply wasn't affordable for me to go there as an out of state student. So, I ended up finishing school back home at Marshall. I lived with my parents while I went to school. Tuition was only like $1100 per semester.
