pfft...get your facts straight before you criticize my city.

that's what an annoying queens jewish girl sounds like.

queens is very different than long island.
north jersey has its completely own accent. So does manhattan...

staten island has the worst accent IMHO

I used to know a girl from Syosset who sounded exactly like FD.

Massachusetts and yes. I met up with a new neighbor who is from Florida (this is 5 years back) anyways she used to laugh and make jokes all the time about my accent.
Might I add that they do not say "wicked" down south.

I also went to Texas and I did not know that our terminology up here is very different. So of course they picked up on it and made fun of me for it.

It is not very strong, but it is noticable. It used to be much worse when I was younger but of course moving here and there has made it simmer a lot.

im from mississippi, deep south, i live on a small farm out in the country, so im country an prolly sound country, so their ya go.

i'm from northcentral pa. . .we're the only ones on the planet that don't actually have a "sound". . .

I've noticed that - there's a cabinet maker I use in PA and there is no identifiable accent, everyone sounds very pleasant when you talk to them.

and most of us still say "please" and "thank you" and "sir" and "mam". . .and we don't come to the dinner table with our hats on (excepting our jewish neighbors) :)
