just wondering..i know muscle weighs more than fat - but how long does it take to put it on - and when does it affect your weight on the scales? i dont weigh myself every day but a couple days ago i was 1 kg lighter...could it be muscle or just salt etc from diet?

If you are weighing yourself at the same time of day each time you do, you can be a little more consistent in your comparisons as you tend to increase is weight over the course of the day as you eat & drink. But day to day, your weight can vary as much as 5-8 lbs due to water retention / loss. The more relevant number is your bodyfat because it will give you a better idea of what % of yoru weight is lean muscle mass and what % is bodyfat.

er...no.

Muscle is more dense and thus takes us LESS SPACE than an eqiu amount of fat.

My scale weight jumps +- 10 pounds a day

my weight jumps too.. (I go betweenup/down 7lbs)...weight means nothing...

The scale at my gym isright in the middle.. its kind fo cute the way ppl come and take off their shoes to weigh themselves.. and sometimes do it more then once a work out..

:)

I don't get it
