Everyone knows you must FUEL the sauce.......just wondering how you guys add the calories when you are putting on LEAN mass as opposed to dieting....heard everything from adding a few ANPB sandwhichs, to eating oats in the middle of the night.......theories? Concepts? Thanks bros.....

Add calories (esp protein and healthy fats, carbs aren't as essential IMO) but try to keep them clean.

I don't agree with the ANPB sandwhich thing. I am against carbs and fats in the same meal -- it makes me fat.

Ive never subscribed to the low carb and/or the no carb/fat meal....even during contest-prep.....I have anpb in my oats and anpb on flax bread daily......

Its really an individual thing.

I get fat very very easily.

I am not suggesting low carb, but IMO, its better for your extra calories to come from protein and fat than carbs. I always got better results that way, but thats just me.

You can also try adding a Meal replacement shake a few times per day, 2-3, along with your regular solid meals. Im going to be adding a Myoplex to a few of my meals this coming bulker, never alone but along with a meal. Its a good way to add healthy cals, can get a little pricy but owe well.

It is not necessary to eat like a monster. Old skewl guys did it eating just healthy and right. I agree with wnt2bbeast. But I would not use weight gainers. They are low quality carbs i.e. sugars that will make you fat in the waist. I'd use good meal replacement in between normal meals as the machine said.

:)

I love this idea...actually have a box of myoplex right here......what kind of meals will you add it to? Maybe mid-am with a tuna or peanut butter sandwhich? Pre-bed...etc?

I agree with him.....maltx (the carb source) is junk...........adding it to a meal, brings up the quality of protein and adds a few calories......

Added more peanuts, flax seed oil, increased pasta and potatoe servings and added a sugar free weight gainer supplement, but i'm an ectomorph so I can get away with just about anything!!
