There are tons of threads about why there is conflict between these people and I'm just curious to know on what basis you are arguing, seeing as you weren't here to see any of the bs and / or drama that took place the last few months.

I know you're an old member here, and I have nothing but respect for that. I know people like you and appreciate your time spent here, and that's gotta count for something.
All I'm saying is you really have no idea why there is drama around this. It's a very long story and it's been going for a while and you haven't been here for a while, so you missed it. Drama doesnt just go away. Snacky just got back from banned camp and there was a reason she was banned. Just because she was given another chance, doesn't mean all of a sudden everyone will fall in love with her and those people who had beef with her will forget all about it.

it's simple. people are given more than a few chances and they still feel it's their duty to give the mods a hard time, break every rule in the book, get into shit with the mods, etc...
no, not everyone who gets into fights with mods get banned...but if you break rules and get into fights with half the mods on EF, then the prb is not with the mods...it's with that member.
This board has been growing. exponentially. we have got new records the last few months, for most members online at a given time and total number of members etc...there is a reason behind that
We have had complaints also, over the last period of time from many members regarding certain people....when you get complaints like that over and over and you notice that those same members are the ones fighting with the mods over everything and disrespecting mods, then there's a pattern there...that person has to go
I'm just a singlt mod and I've never banned anyone...I don't even have the power to do it...but I can assure you, 99.9% of the people who were banned from here have warranted their banning and done enough to bring it upon themselves...

It all depends on the settings used in vBulletin. You can keep members and guests logged in for an hour or for 12 hours. This is what gives the number of "active members and guests" at the bottom of the board screen. It has changed in the past year, probably when vBul was updated a few months back.
This is a Digger/Logician-level thing, though, so others are not necessarily aware of the metric changing (and thus "records" changing with it).

I would say that the recent unbannings have EVERYTHING to do with the lack of posts as of late. I mean (aside from a couple of members who start 50 threads/day) this place was "dead". NOW look at it!
The above is proven by the fact that NONE of the mods even like HR, but they still unbanned her, and AWAY WE GO!!!
It's a survival thing...
But then again - this is just my opinion, and my 2cents.

You have always been respectfull and to my knowledge, have never caused a great deal of extra work for the mods/admin just because you couldn't follow proper channels... so what on earth would give you the idea that YOU would get banned?
As for asshole being overlooked because no one complained you are really making a large assumption over here.
Elite has lost A LOT of quality posters for a host of reasons, part of that was because of all the assholes that seemed to glean pleasure off of the suffering of others. As for the women's forum, that had nothing to do with any of that... Was something far more clandestine, I am afraid. Lotta peeps purposefully set out to crush that board for whatever political reason. So there are some of us that are busting our asses to rebuild it. I really wish that you would visit us there more often - as well as ALL the women, including Ms HR. I am sure that both of you could really REALLY help out countless numbers of women.
