Although not all single moms are like that. I have a friend of mine who ended up pregnant with "the guy she was going to marry some day".Well 4 months after her babies were born one of them passed away...The father blamed my friend and then he took off. He has not had 1 single moment with his son since he was 4 months old! Therefor leaving her to be a single mother now.

I totally agree with you on this viewpoint. I feel the same way. Im sick of people who want "PROPS" because they created adverse circumstances for themselves. These arent wonderful and great accomplishments - it's more like trying to fix something you have fucked up yourself.

1) I believe it all depends on the path that got you there. There are honorable and not-so-honorable ways to get there.

2) Same should be said for single fathers too... they contributed 50% of the DNA

Either way, despite what path you took for yourself to arrive at your circumstance, it's disinegenuous to give kudos to someone for carrying out their own personal responsibility, whatever that may be.
