i won't pretend to be as knowledgable as anybody on this board, but my reasearch has shown that on a daily basis a person should take in up to 2g of protein per pound of lean body mass. And that it is best have a constant supply of protein flowing through your system as systhesis occurs at various intervals. Also, it seems that one should understand how their gear works in intervals so that supplement intakes can be taken concurrently. If this is true, it would seem logical that one would more concerned about carb intake pre-workout and protein / calorie intake post / workout. Am I completely off base with any of this... if so someone please let me know cause i need to know
