Personally, I prefer goin an hour after dinner, say at 7.30 - 8 p.m.

But for walking and cardio, I prefer the mornings...:fro:

At 11.45am

Hi Bros!

I prefer to train on my lunch break at 11.45am, this is my strongest time, then I eat lunch.......

R:D

Anywhere from four to 8 in the moring.. Usually about 530 though... I get some of the meanest pumps ever at that time

I'm with AnabolicDiabetic!!

jump on the bike after a taking a scoop of whey protein first thing in the morning(7:30am) and train after work.(5:30pm)

Lately, I've been doing cardio in the morning AND afternoon, and weights in the afternoon, after cardio. I have to make time.

I like to go in the evening at like 8 or 9. I do this because when I get home I am really tired and that helps me to sleep good.

5 pm for lifting i like cardio in the morning on a empty stomach

Why do so many people like to do cardio in the morning on an empty stomache. I always hear this, but I just want a scientific reason, I know there has to be a good reason for this?

Also, I read somewhere (Men's Health, I think) That 8:00 p.m. is the optimum time to workout!

Personally, I like to work out around 2 or 3.

Ppl do cardio in the morning on an empty stomach based on the idea that the body is carb-depleted after a night's worth of sleep, and thus during cardio the body would hit fat stores for energy.

However, I've heard that the body's level of test is highest in the pm (late afternoon), any truth to this? I guess this also assumes that you are relying on your body's natural test level, otherwise may not matter...

I'm a 3 shifter so I like to hit it right after I get off at 7am. I'm already loosened up and after im done I hit the rack and when I wake up I have time for other things.

gotta hit it after work...........................

I like to hit the gym at around three or four in the afternoon. I come home from work and lay down for a little while then hit it up.

I go at about 6:00 p.m. now after work. During school it varies but if I can I like to go an hour after breakfast. Cardio in the a.m. after a scoop of protein.

Cardio morning is correct - go to burning fat faster since no food is present.

Test is highest in morning at wakeup then drops then rises again during the day.

twice a day / 10:30 to 11:10 a.m. & 8:30 to 9:10 p.m.
never do any cardio.

Never bought into the overtraining as long as you get good rest and proper nutrients.
If you feel tired skip that workout.

I Like to workout any time after 5:00 P.M. I fell strongest then, that is also when I take all my supplements!:D

Mornings - joints hurt too much and too tired. I can get it done but I don't feel I'm at my best.

Afterwork - the time I ussually end up training.

Ideal Time - 11 am - 3 pm - I was in college the last time I was able to do this consistently.

_You know what I dont care but in my gym:

Morning I hate it, coz of all the pervers ( 99yo ) flirting everything all over the floors.

PM: Not bad, when I can go

After 6: I JUST HATE IT, WAY too much suburban types all around

evening: not bad, but alot of wannabee

But I just hates the evening on Thursday, Friday and Sat, WAY TOO MUCH idiots doing arms
to pump them before going out. ( Please let me be a dictator, so I can execute them  )

Cardio in the mornings on an empty stomach....workout at 6:00 pm i'm busy thru out the day taking supplements, eating and consuming enough protein that about 4:00 i start hitting energy foods to gear up for my workout(its brutal!!) RADAR

Since my shift has been moved to 12-8 PM, I have been lifting around 9:30 every morning an I love it!! I am making great gains and eating much better through the day.

My best time to lift has always been 1pm-3pm in the afternoon. Plenty of time to eat and replinish my fluids so I'm not hungry, weak and dehydrated when I lift.

Can't beat early morning cardio on an empty stomach though. :)

I workout between 1am and 3am, been doing it for 2 years, its awesome, I pretty much have the entire gym to myself, then I sleep all day and go to class at night.
