Couple questions for you guys, I've been training everyday for about 6 Months now. I've basically got a good build going, but over the past couple months, I've hit a wall. I've tried everything to get over the plateau...should I try something else I should i just go ahead and start my cycle? I wanted to wait til January but I just can't get over the hump.

Try some 10 x 10, increase the amount of food you're eating. Want to post your diet?
I dont think only training for 6 months is long enough as your muscle and especially your tendons really havn't matured but thats just my opinion./

Ok a little more back story, I worked out non-stop up to the middle of december (18th) last year, and then took some time off. Started back on Feb 10th. (I know because I keep a log) and lost about 20-25 percent strength and size. My diet just want one day? here you go.

After workout I have more creatine and protein bcaa

30-45 min after shake I eat dinner:
For dinner I either eat strip steak, skinless boneless chicken, or talapia, usually steak or chicken,. I usually have a potatoe and some kind of veggie and salad.

How old are you? Post up your stats. Your diet is way off. You should always eat like you are on cycle, even if you're not.

first you need to add 2-3 whole meals to your diet. also are you using any other supps such as creatine, no2, etc? you can get good gains just cycling on and off supps before you even tryu a cycle. also change up your workouts. I barely do the exact same workout twice.

^^AGREED^^ danno, is that a pic of you in your avatar? If so, you have nice teeth. :chomp:
So anyways, apollo, you need to post your stats, not your diet. How old are you, cycle experience if any, goals, etc,..
Hitting a plateau is actually an opportunity to switch things up a bit such as your routines, and as Danno says, you can do alot with regular supps like estherphied ethel creatine, no2, and really change up your diet. Go check out the diet forum. 6 months training is just the beggining. Hell, in another 6 months, you might not even like lifting anymore. Give it some more time before you even consider going down the road of AAS.

Well I enjoy lifting the only reason I took the break was bc I had to get my appendix out. I've been lifting since I was 17 and well never really had a problem getting the gains I wanted until now. Something happened with the time off and I just can't get back to the old level.

I am 6'2"
195 Lbs

I used gear before on "advice" from my college for baseball.
Right now I'm not using any supplements, and quite frankly I don't have the cash for it. I can get gear for free from a buddy, so that's not a problem. I have been switching up my routine a lot lately, even changing times of working out. Nothing has worked. I agree the diet probably isn't enough. I also have heard ketosis is a good way to go. thoughts? Can y'all help me build a sufficient diet?

Your diet definately is not enough, that why i posted what I eat..

You do gear with that diet and you are wasting gear

I'm definitely not doing the gear on that diet, that's what I'm currently eating. I'm still putting it together, just trying to get some advice, since I'm no where near being an expert, and I love learning.
