When baking fina, rubber stopper on or off?????

Im done making my fina, now i gotta sterilize it, it came crimped though so not sure what to do....Also my finished product dont look close to 20 ccs, looks alot less not sure if i did somethign wrong or if im just stressing?? Thanks, Kev
 
The sterle solution will make it sterile.......I never bake mine and never have any problems.......though the heat turns it a nice brown shade..........the freak
 
Bdanto is right. You should have filtered it through the sterile filter into the crimped (sterile) bottle. If thats what you did, then your okay. If you want to bake it, you can heat it for 15 minutes at 250 degrees, let cool, and do it again. I do it for 3 times...heating....cooling. I have never had to do it, but some guys stick a syringe needle into the rubber stopper to relieve pressure and to let moisture out. Good luck!
