Caucasion. White is white. Whether from England, Scotland, Germany, etc. The caucasion man started out as one clan and then slowly spread throughout Europe and then some of them migrated to North America, Austrailia, Iceland. Okay, I don't know what I'm talking about. But, I bet this is true.

Well, the Caucasus mountains are a specific region, it's a lot more specific than "African American" since that phrase contains two whole continents.

The chances of him being Georgian, Chechen, Armenian, Turk, Iranian, or Azerbaijani are vanishingly small though.
 
I sstill don't know what an African American is and I'm supposedly one of them... Like KRS1 said , "might as well call us Toby"

That term makes no sense whatsoever.
Myself I am 1/4 Cherokee, bout 5/8 African , and bout 1/8 Caucasian

But the term attempts to do one thing and that's to help helps us identify with similar peoples. Without a nationality that you identify with , you can only call yourself "white" or Caucasian. What culture do you identify with in this situation

"Ethnicity" is probably a better term than "nationality". For example, I think that "Cracker" or "Whitebread" would be a better description for "my people" than, say, "English-American" because we don't really keep any English traditions.
