Whats your opinion on ground beef while cutting?
Seems to me that if you are cutting eating ground beef no matter how lean is still loaded with fat and useless calories. And Cheese? Get serious. What the hell is cheese going to do for you? That would be the first thing I would toss.

I guess it's all about looking at the guy next to you at the gym or wherever and knowing that your are suffering more now so you can look so much better than that guy later. It's all about suffering. Once you realize that food is simply a fuel that the body needs to drive on it will make it a lot easier to feed it plus and premium than regular unleaded fuel.

I know I am ranting but if you are serious why the hell would you eat ground beef and cheese while trying to cut? It just doesn't make sense.

chicken all the way bro.... with no cheese, no sauce, no salt. It is simply fuel.

But... I guess if you are going to do it do it right with lots of cheese. I just don't think I could handle slipping that badly. I would probably commit suicide afterward.. or simply go into cardiac arrest from the fat overload.
couldn't have said it better myself...being an endo sucks, you gotta watch every calorie that goes in but again, food is fuel thats it.

What I said: Buy lean beef and have it ground...

I have been doing since EVEN BEFORE I started exercising... since I don't want to eat something I don't know what it looked like before... pre-ground beef is plain gross, with all the white shit in it.

Buy sirloin and have it ground... is that difficult?

And I have to agree on the cheese thing, never have it. (but at least I use a pinch of salt... is that allowed??? LOL)

I like ground turkey.

I tried the ground turkey once. It was like eating rubber. That was the worst stuff I have ever purchased. I fealt so bad about it I wouldn't even feed it to my dogs. I just threw it out.

That stuff should be illegal to sell.

i buy 95percent lean ground beef....maybe i am ignorant, but how is that loaded with fat? more then chicken? yes, of course, but i dont see how it is loaded

What he said

What I like to do is find some top sirloin and have the butcher grind it up. It's even leaner that ground beef. Then I mix that in with 6-8 egg whites and 3 or 4 whole eggs and that's lunch a few times a week. A bit of spices and/or a bit of BBQ sauce and yummy!

if you buy the 95/5 beef, and cook it on a Foreman grill doesn't most of the fat drain away ???

Probably still has more than chicken, but not by much ???

I think you guys are crazy and shocked no one else really jumped in here.. I got in the best shape of my life when i added lean beef to my cutting diet.. pretty much would make like 20+ burgers 2 times a week (95% lean sometimes combine that with ground turkey) and eat that and chicken breast combined in a bowl with some small added carbs or some tomato sauce for flavor. My muscles were very full and I stayed big as I dieted.... ever since I was a teenager, all the old time BBdlrs told me to always add red meat to my diet.
