That is why the divorce rate is so high. I think the divorce rate is 50-60% and another 20% should get divorced. Moreover, people stay together for all the wrong reasons. Economics is probably the biggest reason, afraid of being alone is the second, and living under a tradition is the third.. At least that is how I see it..

I already stated I was never married and was engaged twice. I lived with them both and lived with another girl for a year.. It is like buying a new vehicle, the first year, you wash and wax that sucker once or twice a week and baby it, then after a while the mystique wears off. Then you just let the vehicle get trashed without caring...

Married twice. The first for 3 years, the 2nd - 16 years and counting. Also have 3 kids to feed and the oldest is 6'2", 180lbs (at 14).

marriage isnt that bad thelocal, I've always been a firm beleiver of living together first though.. once salaries start to merge, household chores start to pop up, responsibility needs to be addressed and habits come to light, people tend to change... a lot...

marriage is overrated, I will agree with that... The day I got married 2 years ago I signed a paper.. that was it, I didnt even do it because I felt it was necessary, I did it because otherwise my partner and my rock could not come back home with me, to me we were married from the day we went to live together and nothing at all actually changed since we wed, that's what you should look for, someone who wants to be with you in the good and the bad but wont change once you're married, I hate woman who turn into bitches when they marry, they wanna stop working, they stop having sex, they gain weight, they wear sweat pants all day... :worried:
