gullian barres virus, paralyzed in hospital for 3 months had to learn to do everything from holding a pencil to walking. I recovered fully, and also as a result I left the hospital addicted to morphine, they wanted me to go to rehab, I refused, went home and flushed the morphine down the toilet...I understand what addicts go through, I went through hallucinations, convulsions, insane psychotic moments, ten days later went to the doc. He said I was the first person hes ever had that did that on their own, from 40 pills a day to zero

Ive gone through lots of shit in my life, so have others...its easy to make stupid jokes about it, but those who have experienced it whether themselves or friend/family could tell you the devastation it causes. I can joke about a lot of things, but Ill never make fun of someone who has had a bigger bite of lifes shit sandwich than most. I dont talk about my experiences looking for recognition, just sharing. Ive been lucky, I have two healthy kids, I cant even imagine what its like for families with sick kids. (sorry, my testicles must be shrinking since I cant make fun of sick kids)

Pleurisy. That was painful. But not as painful as gall bladder attacks.

I had pneumonia when I was 15. My temp got up to 105.3. Had the nurse shoot me up with drugs on Christmas morning. Doctor said if I had waited another day I probably would have died, my lungs were 40% fluid.

I had impetigo when I was 12ish. I looked gross, like I had the plague or some other flesh eating illness. Effing gross.

Thank God it left no scarring at all.

Other than that, I'm legit never sick. It has to have been years since I've had even a runny nose or the flu.
