What's the best/nicest beach you've ever been too?

Best beach I've been to is definitly Coolangata a.k.a "Surfers paradise" in Australia. There were no rocks, waves were huge. I went to Hawaii right after Australia, and hawaii beaches sucked (too many fuckin rocks, and the waves were weak) hawaii had more chicks however.

In the US - - Waikoloa on the Big Island

Outside the US - - Samos in the Greek Isles. Was there during college and I woke up to see five college females from Sweden disrobing down to nothing (it was a nude beach). Yes, of course I rolled over onto my stomach instantly.

bahamas were VERY nice for sand and clear water, however the locals were ALWAYS trying to sell me coke, do I look like I do coke?

hey pal, g-town is where I surf, so fuck off. Yeah it might not be the best beach in the world but it has a good winter break. I'm sorry that it's not for tourists, but please don't fuck with my beach, it's the only place to surf thats close to houston.
As far as a nice beach to visit, Virginia has a pretty coast line. I think, I haven't been for 4 years.
Sorry for the attitude but if you surf you would feel my emotions. I can't really explain them but, it's all I got, SORRY

when I was there:
1) the water was nasty - people were putting vasoline on them before going in the water so that they wouldn't come out with oil all over them
2) the beach was tiny and sucked ass - the boardwalk was ugly and nothing was on it
3) perhaps it was the time of year, but the waves looked far from surfable.

if it is what you like, then go for it, but I maintain that Galveston TX ranks pretty much near the top if not right at the top of my least favorite places in the country.

I can second that of Galveston being the worst, it is a toxic waste area. People can't go in the water because it is acidic and corrosive (j/k). The water is black.

apparently there is a lot of shrimping though judging from all the shrimp boats - looks funny to see them and then look behind them to see oil derricks...

Just off the northeast coast of Puerto Rico was a tiny uninhabited island where the leeward side was great snorkling,
and the windward side had the coolest rocks and surf.
