I know Nero 8 is good but anything free that you can just download and burn dvds out of your wmv, avi, mpeg etc. files? Everything I try in the trial version just has "image" burning. I take it that's for emulating.....which isn't the same is it.

Huh... well if you can burn an Image and it's an ISO... I can link you to free software to burn CD/DVD from ISO....

Huh. One of the female members made a thread in the computer forum or somewhere here recently about this same thing, I think.

Never mind, it was for a DVD decoder.

These aren't torrents or anything, but the actual video files.....no images whatsoever, which is why I'm confused that you can't just burn a fuggin video file to dvd like you can burn mp3's to a cd. Can you even burn an image to dvd and have it turn out an entire movie? Anyways, like I said, this image thing is irrelevant here. I just want to plop my 700MB, 1GB, 3GB, or what have you video file into the que for the burning software and click "burn" and be able to put it in my dvd player like any other movie. :)

That's what I'm waiting for bro haha. I suppose I'll end up paying for something I know I'll use fully.
