What's going on?

OK somebody clear this up for me?

My girlfriend.. 5' 7" 145 med frame. Up until 1 month ago ate like shit! McDonalds 2 - 3 X per week. A Mountian Dew for breakfast and a coke for lunch. Fried foods, pizza whenever, and things that I wouldn't eat even on my cheat days because when I was done would feel like crap. Anybody else ate like this they would be over 200 lbs. But she would do cardio 45 minutes 4 days per week.

Anyway at 145 she looked better than most at lighter weights, but after the New Year she decided to jump on the bandwagon and change her diet. No Mountian dew, actually no soda at all. 3 Egg whites for breakfast, nice lunch, ate with me for dinner... salad, chicken breast or grilled salmon and no carbs after 7 PM.

Almost a month goes by and she has lost almost no weight. She even started with Hydroxycuts. More energy but no results. Now she's started to do additional cardio 6:30 in the AM as well as at 2PM. This girl is getting discouraged and I think I'm going to lose her. What the hell does she have to do?
