I have owned 2 used, 1 new, and I LOVED having the new car. I am the only owner, the first 20,000 miles or so was sweet. love the new car smell.

For me the biggest thing was piece of mind, I knew that anything that went wrong with my car was 1) a manufacturer issue or 2) my fault. With used cars you just never know.

The total price of my car was 20K, so had I gone used I could have saved maybe 5K but I'd be driving around someone else's leftovers.

oh.. i thought you were buying a bimmer / lexus. the difference in expensive cars from brand new to one year used is like 20 thousand dollars.. at least thats how it is with Mercedes..

why would u want a used bimmer with 20K on it, a car some hot rod lead foot driver (the type who would lease this car) has done his best to tear apart on a short term lease?

you've read the comments here from guys who lease bimmers and do their best to beat the hell out of the car since "it's a lease car whey do i give a shiot about it".

bimmers are damn expensive to get serviced once the lease is over.


you can NOT go wrong buying a toyota/lexus...they have the best quailty control of any car made in this world.

when's the last time u heard ANYONE complain about their lexus being a piece of shit???


for your ski trips and mountain driving the awd will be worth it, esp if it saves ur ass even once.

the choice would be a no-brainer for ME.....LEXUS, B AYYBEEEE!
