2.) SEEING A PERSON DROP A $50 IN THE STREET WITHOUT NOTICING, AND BEING ABLE TO RETURN IT TO THEM. (or would you just keep it?)

I suppose it would greatly depend on your immediate bills or financial situation, but for me...I'd go with #2

Considering it's laundry day and I just found a 20 in a back pocket, I got my 'free money', so I'd easily return something seen dropped on the street.

I found $100 in a bank machine the other day. I turned it into the branch manager -- chances are they'll be able to find who it belongs to.

Finding the cash was cool, but i'm not in dire straits so I didn't feel any need to keep the cash. Anyway, I like knowing that the person who figured they lost it will get it back.

Oh, and if it had been $20 (maybe $50) I would have kept it.

I was standing in line behind this guy at the ATM one day. He took his money, but forgot to retrieve the card, and left the ATM.

I went up to the machine, and found that the card was still in place (anybody could have withdrawn a ton of money off of that thing).

I ended the transaction (the machine was asking if I wanted to make another transaction off of that card) pulled the card out, and ran after the guy.

I caught up to him, and handed it over. He was very grateful (I know of a few others who would have been assholes).

I did what I would have hoped somebody else would have done for me, SAVE MY ASS!
