I'm not trying to "glamorize" these horrible events, I just wanted to see what you alls choices and opinions would be.

I don't think like terrorists but it seems that a university or stadium would create maximum terror. My fear is a suitcase nuke in Manhattan. That would really cripple us before they die.

Damn, I'll be working from home next week, tha's for sure.

Stay safe, stay in Brooklyn! (I want to print that on a t-shirt, 99dogs.com here I come!!)

None of the above.
We have learned from the past. If you look around the military bases you will notice some HEAVY hardware. There is also other elements not so obvious.

If civilians are on the ball and security is tight none of our enemies will be successful again. However standby to standby. To gamble on this is a twisted concept to me so, in a way I really don't see the point of the post.

I think you are dreaming. There are many types of terrorist attacks that would be impossible to defend against.

Allow me to simplify my last post for you Test Boy.

Stand by to Stand by means, anyone's guess. However I get no pleasure out of speculating how many of my American's I'm sworn to protect will die.

Get it?

I've had a bad feeling that a hospital is going to be next. These big ass pussies target shit without a lot of security. I'm just glad to see that we're starting to stand up to what we've been saying all along. I think the next BIG attack is going to be something in the air. More than likely Anthrax

there are to many places that just dont have enough security measures in place. ie. oil refineries, chemical plants. these are known targets, not only for nuclear attack from those cappable but also from terrorist attacks as well.
i work in a chemical plant and we have no security worth talking about(an employee driving around keeping an out).
we have a storage ammonia tank that holds approx. 100,000 gallons. if released it would take out the whole town of 40,000.
thats just one chemical we have. there are 5 other facilities similar to mine in this one small town. theres no way you can defend agaisnt an attack on one of these.

A sporting event would make the most sense, especially college football in middle America, where as many as 80,000 people might be gathered. This would achieve the main goal of terrorists, TERROR. Unfortunately, these guys are hell bent on destroying America, and just killing people isn't enough. Look for an infrastructure type target, maybe trains (easy targets, often carrying chemicals, etc...) or a dam (difficult target but high terror and destructive yield). I think we can pretty much rule out any type of hijacking or planes as bombs now that the rules of engaging hijackers have changed.

If WAR really has begun...then I think that they will start with some of the more important things rather than just take out more innocent people. I think that they will start looking at large targets. Beaver Dam, Hoover Dam, Ft. Knox, etc...they will look to take out the things that will hurt all of America.

I hope that none of this happens

Hoover dam? That would kill thousands of innocent people. Good target if they can do it. Big dams are fairly strong....most of the time. There are much easier targets to obliterate. But the consequences for the Middle East will be SEVERE. Maybe I'll wind up owning a Middle East oil field.
