what went wrong?

Yesterday I injected 2mls of sust. Into my delt (as per usual). I injected mid afternoon and right around the time I went to bed my delt started to get real sore. This morning when I woke up, I have a huge – what feels like a knot, in my delt. There is no swelling or discoloration of the skin around injection site.
To look at I you cannot tell anything is wrong (aside from being able to notice the knot a tad)
So, what went wrong?
You think it is just a knot? If so, what can you do to relieve some of the pain (it hurts like a mother fucker!)
How long do these things last?

2ml of sustanon in the delt is gonna end up hurting more often than not. Any reason why you're shooting there instead of the quad or glute? Anything with prop I like to keep in the leg, but besides hurting and limiting motion while it dissipates, you aren't doing any real damage.
 
i used to shoot fina into my delts and would get those bumps almost every time. I never had any pain or problems and they usually went away in a day or two!!! just watch out for discoloration and temperature changes (i.e. infection.)
 
I do massage the area after (I have been injecting for well over 5 years now - "many" cycles under my belt) first time this has happened. Its now been three days since - still very sore to the touch (not quite as bas though) - range of motion is returning - has gone down a tad. Still absolutely not discoloration or bruising of any kind.I love to inject into delts - reason why I do. Also, I am so inflexible; I can barley reach around to shoot in my ass - very awkward position for me. So from what a few of you are saying, did the oil pool in the muscle? Or can anyone explain to me in laymen’s terms what exactly happened? Is 2mls of sust. to much to put into a delt? Because of the prop?
 
Sust often reacts badly during the first few injections. I had the same exact problem, i was freaking out that it was gona be an abcess but it went away on its own after a few days. Heat it up and rub the muscle alot, that will help breakdown anything laying around in there

You've been injecting into your delt for 5 years and this is first time this has happened to you? Thats more surprising than anything. Is this the first time shoting prop. in there? As the guys said, its just a bad shot which could have a number of reasons: you hit or shot on a nerve, prop tightly concentrated and irritating the muscle, etc. As long as it doesn't happen too often I'd forget about it. I'd say you've been pretty luck with the delt shots as it is, most would have had a few bad ones already after 5 years.
 
i've been shooting into my delts for 2+ years now and this only happened to me when using chinese gear. i guess it was the high BA content. It never happend with human grade stuff even when shooting 2ml e2d into the same delt for weeks.

High BA content is what did it for me.
 
I would not inject 2mls of sust into my delt. I only like doing 1 ml in my delts, and i wouldnt put sust in there. Sust is the only real painfull drug for me. I would put 1 ml in each delt and the rest somewhere else. This seems to be my pain threshold..

Delts: 1ml each
Quads: 2ml each
Glutes: 3ml each

THats 12mls a week if you hit those all up like that. Going higher in those places gives me a lot of discomfort. I shot 1ml of Omnadren and 1ml of NPP into my left delt last cycle ... never again.
 
I still get the bulge once in a while, no explanation just happens for whatever reason some times. the thing that works for me is to really massage it and workout through the pain. I used to not workout until the pain ceased. Now I workout and really make an effort to work that spot and the pain goes away quicker. For example, if my glute is the spot effected I will do squats or something....works for me. Just like when you go to physio therapy, you have a knot and they massage the crap out of it and use quite a bit of force.
